Buju Reveals Plans to Release New Project on His Birthday

Nigerian singer, Buju has revealed that he is planning to release a new project this year and it will not be released until his birthday.

Buju released that his next project which will be his first release of the year will not be put out until his birthday on the 19th of May this year. He shared this via his Instagram stories on Wednesday, the 19th of January 2022.

Buju had a very good year in 2021 with countless hit features to his name which includes his features on Ladipoe‘s Feeling as well as Wizkid‘s Mood off the Made in Lagos Deluxe. The singer also unveiled a new EP titled Sorry I’m Late which is still charting on the biggest charts in the country till this moment. Buju also rounded up an amazing year with his very first headline concert in Lagos which saw the appearance of many stars like Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Although Buju has not revealed if his new project will be another EP or his debut album, we now know that it will be released on his birthday. Another point of concern for Buju fans will be the fact that the singer will not be releasing any new music till that date.
